Born in England, expatriated to the south of France, I have also spent many years in the beautiful country of Norway, and four years in Brazil, in the marvelous city of Rio de Janeiro. I have had quite a varied artistic background. Graduating in 2000 from Dartington College of Arts with a Bachelors Degree in Music, I went on to create a company working with babies through music, massage and yoga therapies. I also continued to play the flute in various orchestras until 2014.  More recently, I completed a Bachelors Degree in Photography (graduating with a First Class Honours) from the University of Hertfordshire whilst continuing to work as a freelance photographer in France and Brazil.  This was a personal challenge and an opportunity to broaden my creative photographic style.

Initially specializing in sports photography, I have progressed from capturing regional and national events to International sports events in Handball, World Cup Biathlon and Ski Jumping competitions as well as the infamous X-Games.  Photographing events in France, Norway and Brazil, I have a varied sports portfolio.

In Brazil I developed the passion for documentary photography, working alongside Non-Government Organisations to document their projects promoting sports and education in some of Rio's poorer communities.

The difficulties the current pandemic has on us all,  has pushed me to discover new creative pathways and resulted in a creative photography portfolio mixing different media formats.  At the end of 2020 I released a virtual exhibition and film relating to my Covid-19 battle, which I see as both a professional and therapeutic achievement, which I wish to share with as many as possible.

The world is not the same, we are more than ever evolving and changing.  It is, therefore, my intention to continue to use my photography skills as a creative tool for promoting awareness about the many medical, social and cultural challenges we face today.

Today I work a lot with different projects, I am mostly inspired by a group of young women here in the Pyrenées who are battling breast cancer, so I am using my photography as a therapeutic tool, to explore emotional and healing connections to promote self love and acceptance.

When I am not behind the camera, I am racing behind my two teenage children, dancing in the kitchen or connecting with nature on long walks or playing golf.
